PUB CRAWLER'S GUIDE
|
| If there is one thing that I've been accused of knowing about... it's pubs. Everywhere I travel I look for new pubs, not so that I can drink, but because usually they remind me of the warmth, comfort and hospitality of home. This is my page to pay tribute to those pubs that have welcomed me in my travels. |

O'Flaherty's French Quarter, New Orleans, LA |
| It
is with great sadness that I let you know that O'Flaherty's
is closing it's doors. It was truly one of the great
highlights of my trip to New Orleans. The food was fantastic
and though the bartender (just a young whip) called my
sister and I "ma'am" I found that the warmth and comfort
offered was like going home. It will always be a measure by
which I judge so many other pubs. My condolences to those who will grieve for it's passing. Perhaps a wake is in order or one heck of send off during Mardi Gras... |

Teagan's Rating System This is a completely biased rating system based only on my own opinions. 5 Shamrocks = Fantastic Experience 4 Shamrocks = Pretty Good, but missing something 3 Shamrocks = Okay, but not quite 2 Shamrocks = Forget it... find another pub. 1 Shamrock... let's face it. If it's 1 Shamrock it won't make the list. |
